Our Wedding

In December of 2019, Jodi and Caleb met quite fatefully in Jodi's living room. She came home hungry and sweaty after working a shift as a minion at Universal Studios and saw, to her surprise, a cute stranger standing before her. They were both wearing yellow beanies, which meant both nothing and everything. Turned out he was there for a band practice with her roommate (handsome AND a drummer? HOT DOG).With their minimal exchange of words and Jodi's much-in-need-of-a-shower appearance, she assumed she'd never see him again. Much to her delight, she was very wrong. They exchanged numbers and texted non-stop for a week before finally meeting for their first date: a cheesy (literally) picnic in the park. They gorged on fancy brie and spent hours giggling and feeling like they'd known each other their whole lives. Four years later, Caleb proposed at that very same park with just as much laughter, excitement, and cheese as their first date. They knew quite early on that they had found their other half and they are unbelievably thrilled and grateful to get to celebrate their love with all of their favorite humans.

Balboa Park is a San Diego staple! The 1,200 acre park is home to beautiful botanical gardens, countless museums, the Old Globe Theater, and of course, the world famous San Diego Zoo!

The Waterfront Park is an awesome place to spend an afternoon. It features large fountains, wading pools, and a playground great for the kiddos. It's also across the street from delicious restaurants and bars right along the water (perfect for happy hour with a sunset view).

Located on Coronado Island, this is one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in San Diego. It's also home to the historic Hotel Del, which is always fun to explore even as a non-guest.

If you want to see a little piece of where Jodi grew up, come venture to Newport Avenue in the eclectic neighborhood of Ocean Beach. You'll find unique shops, awesome bars and restaurants, and will likely make friends with a few hippies, troubadours, and surfers on your stroll.

Disneyland may have all the fame and glory, but Legoland is one of the coolest theme parks EVER. It is a creative wonderland for both kids and adults and every ride is a work of art! (Dang...now I want to go to Legoland).
