Joe and Cat caught an early flight to CO for a spring break trip. After napping in the car and a stop at Cabelas, they made it to Estes Park with his parents.

After a couple more naps and a few episodes of The Biggest Loser, they went to Rocky Mountain National Park for what Cat thought was wildlife viewing as a pre-dinner activity. After seeing her first moose ever, (her favorite animal), they walked down a short trail with Hope and Joe’s parents. While gazing at the valley in front of them, the others fell away as Joe got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The response was “Are you serious?” three times over before Cat finally believed what was happening.

The ensuing celebration commenced over the week in CO as well as the return trip to Long Island.

Joe and Cat are now both starting their careers, as a United States Marine Corps Officer and a Nurse respectively. Though they are long distance once again (nothing new for the two of them), they are diligent to see each other as often as they can.

They are so excited to begin their lives together and celebrate the start of it all with all of you.
