Activities at Podere Montale
Enhance your celebration with a range of activities, including horseback riding excursions, e-bike tours through the vineyards, wine tasting, and cooking classes with our chef. Alternatively, guests can explore the estate at their leisure, soaking in the natural beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. The pool will be open to us at all times.


If you are looking to venture off of the estate:


Seggiano: A comune in the Province of Grosseto village of Seggiano. It is a 10 minute drive.


Montalcino: A hill town and comune in the province of Siena, Tuscany, central Italy. This is a 20 minute drive.


Montepulciano: A medieval hilltop town in Tuscany, Italy. Surrounded by vineyards, it’s known for its vino nobile red wine. Shawna and Joe explored here in 2023, it is one of their favorite places! This is a 50 minute drive.


Pienza: A town in Tuscany, Italy. The central Piazza Pio II is framed by 15th-century buildings like the Pienza Cathedral and Piccolomini Palace. The latter was Pope Pius II’s summer residence and features a roof garden with valley views. Shawna and Joe stayed here in 2023, and loved it. This is a 40 minute drive.
