Podere Montale is located in Seggiano, in the province of Grosseto.
Just over the Val d’Orcia, it is easily reached by car, in about two hours from Florence and an hour and a half from Siena.
Firenze Amerigo Vespucci Airport is the closest.
It is also possible to travel by public transport to the nearby town of Seggiano, with a fast bus from the Firenze Autostazione (opposite the Santa Maria Novella FS train station) to Grosseto, getting off at Paganico.
Then take the bus to Castel del Piano and the bus to Seggiano.


We STRONGLY encourage that you rent a car and do not rely on public transportation. A professional tip- if you do not know how to drive stick shift, make sure you book an automatic car.
