10.09.2025 Hey Everyone! We've reserved the entire Beachfront Inn for our wedding weekend- which means we're personally responsible for every room. So if you haven't already, ***Please Confirm and Pay the Deposit for your room*** The Inn closes for the off season (NOVEMBER - APRIL) and is **UNREACHABLE** during this time. Your quick confirmation helps up keep everything running smoothly (and keeps us from footing the bill for empty rooms). So if you have other plans for accommodations, please let us know ASAP so we can fill the room with another guest. If you don't have an assigned room at the Inn, disregard this update. Thank you for your part in ensuring this weekend runs smoothly!

How to confirm your room

Call the Inn at (920)-839-2345 Mention the wedding weekend and dates (June 25-28)Rooms are reserved under a LAST NAME Put down a credit card—one night will be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be paid when you arrive to check in.&nbsp; If you’re bringing a dog, please let the Inn know when you confirm your stay so they can mark it on the reservation. The dog deposit and fee will be collected at check-in.

What else do I need to know about the Beachfront Inn? Front Desk Hours: 7:30am - 8pmThere is daily Continental Breakfast 7:30am - 9:30am.Beach towels are available for use.Pool Loungers are available for use around the pool.The Inn does not provide cribs/infant beds and are not available upon request. Please plan accordingly if you are traveling with children.

If you’re unable to book a room at the Beachfront Inn, don’t worry—you’re still able to come enjoy the beach, pool, and other amenities! This hotel will be the hub for all wedding events, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to spend time with everyone, soak up the sun, take a swim, and relax. Come as early as you’d like or stay as late as you want- We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Roost+Banter

a 2 min walk from the Inn, Lake Fire Winery has a wide variety of wine ranging from dry to sweet including red, white, fruit, sparkling, dessert and port style varieties. A rotating selection of hard apple ciders, hard seltzers and wine cocktails are also available, along with non-alcoholic sodas. Sample award-winning wines and ciders at the tasting bar, relax with a glass on the patio, or enjoy a flight on the lawn, overlooking Lake Michigan. An assortment of sweets and charcuterie options are available and carry in food is welcome. The tasting room is wheelchair accessible and leashed pets are welcomed on the patio.

Lake Fire Winery

A 2 min walk from the Inn, this place is a true Door County landmark. Built in 1887, it has been a general store, butcher shop, bar, and home. The Blue Ox has been under the same ownership since 1975!

Open 11am -2am every day. Enjoy drinks and food (wings are delish!) with some great live music. Or try your luck and throw money to the ceiling! All ceiling money is donated to charity. Joe got it on the first try!

TRULY UNIQUE. TOTALLY DELICIOUS. DELIGHTFULLY DOOR COUNTY. Baked goods, jams, pie fillings, hot sauce, syrups, soaps, cheese, fresh produce… if you think of it, they probably have it! One of the best places to bring a little piece of Door County home with you. 

Wood Orchard Market

Bring some paint and brushes & enjoy the lake view while you leave your mark on Door County! (Yes, it’s allowed! Actually encouraged!) A 14 min drive from the Beachfront Inn. Please only use acrylic paints or watercolors. Spray paint and markers are not allowed. There is also a wonderful gallery inside of the building! Check for hours.

Open Tuesday thru Sunday 8am -1pm. Right across the street from the Beachfront Inn! They have a second location on the other side of the peninsula as well!

An 11 min drive from the Inn, This is where the Bride will be having a laid-back bachelorette gathering, and all the ladies are welcome to join! You as the artist get to choose from a large variety of art projects including ceramics, fused glass, jewelry, mosaic and a wide selection of canvases, wood, glass or metal pieces to paint. The average project ranges from $10-40.there are beverages and light snacks available for purchase on site or bring your own!

Hands On Art Studio

Here you’ll find a charming little waterfront downtown. Great for casual shopping and some good eats. If you get caught in a storm (like we did!) hunker down with a local shop and experience the wonderful hospitality. A 16 min drive from the Beachfront Inn.

On January 16, 2021, Joe sat down for his first high-end men’s experience at 18|8 Fine Men’s Hair Salon. As he was greeted by his new stylist, Larissa, he swears to this day that he knew she was going to be a part of his life somehow the moment she walked around the corner to meet him at reception. Larissa, however, swears that he’s full of s**t—but since it makes for a sweet story, she allows him to tell it that way. As Joe walked back to her chair, Larissa glanced at her receptionist, and with secret salon eye codes, they wordlessly told each other, “You got a hottie on your hands”. To this day, Joe chooses to believe this story without hesitation. For the better part of a year, Joe continued to come in for his biweekly ear-lowering as their friendship grew with each appointment. He was drawn to Larissa’s beautiful smile and brash sense of humor. Inevitably, he developed a crush as he got to know her kind nature—as he studied her bright eyes while she washed his hair every few weeks. Larissa will now admit that a slight crush was developing on her end as well, but neither of them were in a position to act on it. She was swooned by his kind eyes, his gentle smile, and his soft words. Then, as quickly as the flame had started, it abruptly fizzled out—Joe stopped coming in. Though he loved seeing his secret crush on a regular basis, the services were a little too bougie for his budget at the time. Larissa was left wondering, What the hell happened to this guy? Little did they know, they both thought about each other often over the next two years—not in a creepy way, just fondly remembering the other. For Joe, she was a beautiful person who had disappeared from his life, and for Larissa, he was a handsome mystery man she assumed she would never see again. At the beginning of 2023, as they emerged from pandemic hibernation, Joe and Larissa started exploring the world of dating apps. To their surprise, they matched. Larissa sent the first message: “Where have you been all my life? 😉” And just like that, they reconnected. Their banter was undeniable. Joe let the conversation go for about a day before asking her out for drinks at Camp Bar in the Third Ward, Milwaukee, followed by dinner at DanDan. Larissa admits she wasn’t entirely sure if Joe saw this as a date or just two old friends catching up over drinks. Joe, however, was thinking date—which, in hindsight, made him wonder if he needed to reassess his game. Larissa figured out fairly quickly that his intention was more than just to rekindle their friendship. Either way, by the end of the night, sparks were flying, and they both knew round two needed to happen soon. A week later, Larissa joined Joe and his friends for his birthday at a local drag bar, where he was gently encouraged to dance on stage while women threw dollar bills at him. Convinced that this humiliating display had sealed his fate and that Larissa would never speak to him again, Joe braced for the worst. But to his surprise, Larissa was so impressed by his bravery and self-deprecation that she was completely sold. Shortly after, they made it official—and they’ve been inseparable ever since. The past few years have been a whirlwind of love, adventure, and change as Larissa, Joe, and Lily have built their life together under one roof. From day one, they’ve both felt like home to each other, and if fate and soulmates are real, this is surely it. Now, they can’t wait to officially begin this lifelong journey together—and to celebrate that beginning with all of you!

Honoring Filipino Wedding Traditions

Mano Po

Mano Po is a cherished Filipino tradition that shows respect and gratitude to our elders. As part of our wedding, we'll honor this gesture by taking the hands of our parents and gently touching them to our foreheads. This moment is our way of asking for their blessing and acknowledging the love, guidance, and sacrifices they've made to help us become who we are today. Including Mano Po in our ceremony is deeply meaningful to us- it reflects our gratitude and the strong family values that continue to shape our journey together.

Veil & Cord

The Veil &amp; Cord ceremony is a meaningful Filipino tradition that represents unity, love, and the lifelong bond between two people. During this part of the wedding, a veil is placed over our shoulders to show that we are being joined together as one. Then, a cord- shaped like an infinity symbol- is then placed over us, representing everlasting love and commitment. This quiet, beautiful moment highlights the strength of our partnership and is made even more meaningful by the loved ones who take part in it, surrounding us with their blessings and support as we begin this new chapter together.

13 Coins (Arrhae)

The 13 Coins symbolizes shared prosperity, trust, and the responsibilities of building a life together. During this part, one partner gives the other thirteen coins as a promise to support and care for each other equally. Each coin represents a core value we hope to carry into our marriage: love, trust, commitment, respect, joy, harmony, care, cooperation, peace, gratitude, generosity, unity, and family. It's a simple yet powerful moment that reflects our hopes for a balanced and lasting partnership.

Unity Candle

The Unity Candle symbolizes the joining of two lives and two families. In this ceremony, our mothers will each light a candle to represent us as individuals- the people we've become through their love, guidance, and care. Together, we'll use those flames to light a single candle, representing the start of our shared life as one. It honors both our individuality and the unity we're building, inspired by the Filipino spirit of pagkakaisa- coming together as one.

Throwing of Rice

The Throwing of Rice is a joyful Filipino tradition that takes place at the end of the ceremony, as the newlyweds walk out together. Loved ones toss handfuls of rice our way- a gesture filled with well wishes for a life of abundance, happiness, and good fortune. In Filipino culture, rice is a symbol of prosperity and nourishment so this playful moment is also a meaningful one. As the Filipino's say- "Rice is Life".

Rice Cakes are more than just delicious treats; they're rich in meaning and tradition. Made from sticky rice and coconut, they symbolize the idea of "staying stuck" together through life's ups and downs. Serving rice cakes at our wedding is a sweet way to honor our roots and share a meaningful tradition with our guests. As we celebrate love, family, and community, Kakanin reminds us of the strength that comes from being connected- just like the layers and textures in each bite.
