Our Wedding

We first met in September 2014 when we were working at Interpol in Washington D.C. Brittany was already working there and Joe moved into the cube right next to her! Aside from actually working, we bonded over a love of food and all things Boston. Joe is from North Andover, MA and Brittany is from Wilmington, MA--only 20 minutes apart! We quickly went from coworkers to friends and got to know each other better both in and out of the office.After a few years of friendship, it was clear we were meant to be more than friends. We officially started dating in July 2017 and have enjoyed all the adventures since.We love cooking together (Joe's homemade pizza and Britt's guacamole are a few classics), being active (Britt is still working on turning Joe into a hiker, but quarantine life has definitely upped our home work out game), going to happy hours with friends, traveling (Nashville, Charlotte, NC, and Colorado have been some of our favorite trips), and any excuse for a trip to the beach.We are so thrilled to be able to spend the rest of our lives together and to be able to share our wedding day with our closest family and friends next August!

Our Story

Joe and Brittany will be staying at Lansdowne Friday (8/20) and Saturday (8/21) night. We would love to have you join us for an after party at or near Lansdowne (details still pending!).

For our guests who will be in the area on Friday night, we would LOVE if you would join us at Vanish Farmwoods Brewery (42245 Black Hops Lane, Leesburg, VA) from 8:00 pm-10:00 pm for drinks and time before the wedding to catch up!

We already know the wedding will fly by and we want to celebrate with you all night long! After the wedding, we'll be at Coton &amp; Rye, the bar located in the Lobby of Lansdowne Resort &amp; Spa. Please join us if you're up for it!

If you're looking for something to do Sunday morning and aren't sick of us yet, we'll be at Foxridge Park (525 Catoctin Cir SW, Leesburg, VA). Pending weather, we'll gather there from about 10:00am-1:00pm to hang out, have coffee and some food! If you plan to come to Foxridge, please let Olivia Schuh (livschuh19@gmail.com) know how many people will be with you by August 10, so we can plan the food accordingly.

For transportation to The Barn at Willow Brook, we have created a Lyft promo code: MULCAHY0821 for a discounted rate. The Barn at Willow Brook has limited parking for those who wish to drive. There will be an attendant directing you where to park. There will be a shuttle at the end of the wedding, which will stop at each hotel listed on our Accommodations page.
