Honestly there are a ton of things to do when you're in Rochester, NY. From all the breweries, to coffee shops, to places like the Strong National Museum of play - you might need more time in town than just our wedding weekend! Listed below are some of our favorite spots to check out:
This is where we had our first date, Rorhbachs! The location in the city is the closest to the hotels - they have a great selection of craft beer and you can't go wrong with any of their pizza options. Highly recommend!
Fun fact - the head chef at this restaurant is catering our wedding! This is a great spot to grab dinner. Some of our menu favorites are the spicy fried cheese curds, the smokehouse burger, the pub riggies, and the chicken french. You can't go wrong with anything here!
This brewery in Webster is one of our favorite places to go to! Great beer, great atmosphere, but most importantly great poutine. If you get a moment, go check it out!
If you love fall, apple cider, donuts, and being happy then make sure to stop by Schutts! They have a little bit of everything from apple picking, to hard cider tasting, to home goods shopping, and so many delicious baked goods.
This is another favorite spot for us - great food, great beer, and you can buy some of the artwork off the walls from Rochester local artists. We have some artwork from here in our house!
This is a newer sports bar in the Webster area - great dinner spot especially if you like beef on wick or chicken wings!
Breakfast is our favorite meal of the day. Moma Lor's also does lunch and dinner, but we frequently go here for the breakfast. We highly recommend their Bumz Plate Skillet or any of the eggs benedict options!
This is a cute little coffee spot in the city of Rochester. They have great breakfast sandwiches and the coffee is always good. They even have alcoholic coffee options if you're into that!
This is one of our favorite places to go to, especially for the live music events! This is where we get all of our records, and they have a ton of Rochester local merchandise. It's a fun place to walk around and shop if you get the chance!
If you are just looking for a fun activity to do while in town, check out axes and ales! It's located in the city and who doesn't love being able to throw axes at a wall?! (this is our Maid of Honor's favorite place to go when she's in town).
