Joel (JB) was born and raised in Missouri and attended college to play baseball. Once his baseball career was over, Joel continued his love with farming and this lead to a lot of traveling which landed him in Plains, Kansas. Joel found himself at home in Kansas, surrounding himself with many friends and excellent work opportunities where he ultimately decided to get his pilots license and become a spray pilot. Alexis was raised in Kansas and attended college in Colby, after graduation she decided to move back home to Hugoton to follow her dad’s footsteps in fire & EMS. Alexis waited years for God to answer her prayers about bringing her a good Christian man to love her unconditionally. One appointment, Alexis’ dental hygienist mentioned she had a guy she would like to introduce her to, and thankfully agreed to the blind date! Little did we all know that our first date was going to be the start of our forever • We have so many similarities that it has made our relationship an amazing adventure from the start. During the time we’ve spent together we have grown stronger as a couple, in our faith and with our families. We are excited to start our new journey as husband and wife, making memories for a lifetime of happiness.
