Our beginning was unusual. Some might say unconventional … but that is not important. When we met, we only had our dreams and hopes. Our “what if this is the one?” question. After a few short days, we were a couple. We had many adventures during our two-year relationship, from camping and deep-sea fishing … to “surviving” a massive cold front in an RV without a heater … and even swimming with sharks in freezing water with an eel named Nicolas Cage.

Along the way, we made new friends and went to new places. We enjoyed each other’s company and even though we lived an hour drive away, we saw each other almost every day. We supported each other in our personal endeavors such as graduating from university, to accepting new career opportunities, and facing our fears. Fears such as our first airplane ride and enduring the anxiety of being in line for a roller coaster.

We celebrated the ups and lamented the downs; however, we were in each other’s company. We found in each other a better future and a hope for a brighter day! We wish we could go back in time and enjoy our past all over again, but we look forward for what the years to come will bring. Both of us excitedly await the adventures our journey will takes us thru.

These experiences have only drawn us closer together and, it is through God’s very own grace and mercy that he has blessed us with each other’s company, and he knew we were one for the other. Now with His blessing, we look forward to ending this chapter of our life so that we may start a new one. One written between God, Husband, and Wife.
