Dallas has two major airports and is very convenient and centrally located.

Depending on what you want to do, will determine if you need a car. You can fly into DFW or Love Field airport (both centrally located) and take an uber which will probably be around $50-70 each way, and then when you arrive you can walk everywhere in the harbor. Rockwall is a true small-town destination, with a cozy feel. If you have never been to Dallas, you can rent a car and use it to get around. The DFW Metroplex has an assortment of fun activities, and this time of year even brings the State Fair of Texas. This exciting one time a year annual fair brings lots of games, rides, food, and fun. Dates of the fair are September 27-Ocotber 20th.

*Friday- is a free day for anyone coming into town *Saturday- Free Day until 5:45pm when we will board the boat for the wedding ceremony and cruise around the lake. *Sunday-Lazy day. Take in the sights or have a great brunch before you travel home. You can even visit the State Fair of Texas on it’s last day.

October is lovely time of year in Dallas. Not too cold, and not too hot. Make sure to bring a light jacket or shall for the boat ride just in case you get cold. The boat is 2 stories and has inside and outside. The boat is heated and has air condition if needed. Be mindful of shoes ladies when walking around the boat

Rockwall Harbor has some great restaurants and bars with DJ's. When the boat ride is over, all can change clothes and meet up to have some fun at a surrounding restaurant/bar. All within walking distance.
