How in the world did our paths overlap so much and never cross until now? Our passion for wrestling has ultimately brought us together. After meeting through coaching the sport we love, our feelings blossomed and put us on the track that we’re on now.

At first, we did not know how people would react to us dating. Somehow, we knew all of the same people but our worlds still felt like they were colliding. Amber's old head coach had become one of Joel's best friends, and her brother, Rob, had been coaching with him for years. God knows timing and knew his plan for us. The more we learned about each other the closer we became, and our love for wrestling tied us to a common interest we share. Since then, we have found many more common interests and cannot wait to make more memories growing old together. We look forward to sharing our next step in life with you.

Joel's Version: Amber had started giving up on trying to find her person, but she just couldn't resist my dashing good looks and masculine features. I easily swept her off her feet and the rest is history.

I cannot wait to start the next chapter of our lives together.

Amber's version: I pulled up to girl's districts and found out my brother, Rob, wasn't even going to be there. I had just worked a long night shift and was in no mood to go meet a complete stranger and coach with him all day. I was still trying to shake off being so grumpy with Rob when I walked in and saw this massive guy with a beard and thought, "Oh boy, I'm in trouble."

Now every time I start to get upset with Rob for something, I remember I have him to thank for finding the love of my life.
