Our Wedding

We may be underprepared for music festivals, but we’re fully prepared for forever. We first met when I was working at Dutch Bros in college and he was mining out of town. He’d come through all the time, telling me he was going to make me his wife — and I’d just laugh it off. After a few hangouts with mutual friends, I finally agreed to a date… and the rest is history. On July 19th, 2025 — the day after his birthday — he completely surprised me with a proposal. My first response wasn’t “yes” but “Are you sure?!” (then lots of happy tears). Since then, we’ve shared countless adventures — from concerts and camping trips to welcoming our perfect baby boy on April 8th, 2025. Our love is goofy, spontaneous, and full of laughter, and we can’t wait for this next chapter.

Over time, our weekends shifted from house parties to couples’ game nights, and now, as she’s embraced motherhood (and now a FIANCÉE!!) our friendship has continued to evolve. We’ve grown together through so many stages of life, and I’m grateful for the memories we’ve made and the bond we’ve built along the way.”

After three brothers, Joella was my last chance at a sister—and thankfully she showed up. I was nearly 15 when she was born, and I literally watched her come into the world (while holding my stepmom’s leg, so that’s a bond you can’t really top). Since then, she’s been my sidekick: summers, holidays, family trips, and even as my flower girl at my wedding in 2008. As we’ve gotten older, we’ve become even closer, even though we’ve always been in totally different life stages. She’s the fun aunt to my kids, my forever buddy, and now I get to cheer her on as she starts this new adventure with Koda and their sweet little guy, Kasen. I couldn’t love her more.

I first met Jo working at Dutch Bros and from the start I have never laughed so much and related to a person more. From drinking one too many buzz balls together, to a shoulder to cry on she’s always been there. I’m so grateful to be a part of her life and big day. I was introduced to Joella through my boyfriend, Bowen, who has been friends with Koda for years. We instantly clicked and our connection quickly became something so meaningful- filled with trust, laughter, and a sense of comfort that’s hard to explain. She is always so genuine and kind and seeing the love she has for Koda and Kasen has been so incredibly special. I’m endlessly grateful for our friendship and so honored to stand beside her as she begins this beautiful next chapter! I love you, my sweet friend!

We met on July 7, 2024—my very first day of work— the first thing Koda said to me was, “You should’ve found a different job.” From there, he was the one showing me the ropes, and probably wondering if I’d last the week. We survived long days with multiple energy drinks, and enough inside jokes to get us both in trouble. Then Koda went and got himself a different job, leaving me to suffer without my partner in crime. Now we’re suiting up for a wedding instead of a workday—though I’m still half-expecting him to hand me a tool.

“My wife and I moved back to Boise in 2024, where we then met up with Koda and Jo as my wife and her have been friends for several years. We instantly clicked and are often times trying to stay out of trouble but somehow trouble follows us everywhere, I couldn’t imagine my Idaho life without my beer drinking mariocart guy.”

Me & Dakota have been friends for a longtime. We became friends in high school, ended up living together, working together, and did everything together. Dakota and I have been together through many stages of life as we graduated high school. It wasn’t always easy but it was a good time & we made it through. I remember when he first told me he met a girl, now they’re getting married. I’m glad I got to see their relationship grow from the start. I wish nothing but the best.
