Big shout out to Samaiyah (maid of honor) and Keith (groomsman) without them, there is no US... The year was 2012, my friends and I (BABE) were hosting a cookout at my aunts backyard in East Orange. Reggie spotted me walking around hosting but never got the chance to approach me due to his busy work schedule and urgency to leave due to work. So he asked his friend (Keith) to ask my friend (Samaiyah) for my number. You know a hock up lol. The first few months he annoyed me with the sweet messages and the “when am I going to see you” conversations. Who knew this was the person I will be spending the rest of my life with. He remained consistent and he decided to meet me at my job. After our meet and greet we were both physically attracted to each other and wanted to know more. So, we decided to officially go on a date. He took me to a cute little cave restaurant in Edgewater “Archetypus”. During our date he asked, “can you take me home?” I was a bit hesitant but I said, “sure no problem.” His response, “are you sure it’s ok?” I said, “yes it’s ok no problem.” I had so many thoughts going through my mind. “Like is he trying to harm me”, “what’s his objective here?”, but my intuition said he’s harmless. Anyone that knows Reggie is aware that he turns everything into a joke. While walking to my car I noticed he stopped, then said, “I don’t need you to take me home”. He proceeded to his trunk of his car and surprised me with gifts for Valentines Day. Then apologized for being unable to spend Valentines Day with me due to work. After that the rest was history....
