For those driving, please check your route in advance - with I-40's closure, a re-route may require additional travel time.
While Asheville is accessible by car for most of our guests, there is a regional airport for those traveling in from outside the Tennessee / Carolinas area.
Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)
61 Terminal Dr #1, Fletcher, NC 28732
We encourage friends and family to book lodging as soon as you are able. May in the Asheville area can be a busy time, and given recent events, lodging may become limited.
Given the range in price points available, we are not coordinating a hotel block. We encourage everyone to choose the option that works best for you. More information is listed below.
- Our wedding will take place in Weaverville, NC which is 15-20 minutes north of downtown Asheville, NC.
- There is ample parking available at the venue.
- Getting a Lyft or Uber from Asheville to the venue in Weaverville is easy; getting one from Weaverville back to Asheville is more challenging.
- For those who want it, we will be providing transportation from the venue to a downtown Asheville bar after the reception.
- We plan to spend the rest of the weekend in the downtown Asheville area.
We will be staying in an Airbnb in Weaverville, but friends and family are welcome to stay in any area or book any price point you'd like.

2. VRBO, AIRBNB
These potentially offer more affordable options for groups; but given the destruction of The Hurricane, we encourage friends and family to contact hosts before booking to ensure access is open and properties are safe. We also encourage folks to book trip insurance in case something else unprecedented happens. (*spoken through a nervous laugh*)
There are rentals available around the downtown Asheville area, in Weaverville and many areas in-between.
