It is important to book through our destination weddings website as we have set a room block for our guests at a special rate. Stephanie Parks, our destination weddings specialist, will also be able to schedule your transfers to and from the airport (included in the cost) if booking through our destination weddings website. If you choose to book through the resort website directly we cannot guarantee you are getting the best rate and transfers to and from the airport will need to be planned separately.

Although the couple will be arriving on Wednesday, May 14th, we expect most of our guests will arrive on Thursday, May 15th or by Friday, May 16th at the latest to attend the rehearsal dinner scheduled for Friday evening.

Yes, we recommend adding travel insurance. Emergencies may arise and we don’t want you to risk losing out on a refund or chance to receive travel credit. Please note: Travel protection cannot be purchased after your booking is confirmed.

Should you need to cancel or change your travel plans, for any reason, before the payment due date, the initial deposit is non-refundable. Should you need to cancel or change your travel plans, for any reason, after the payment due date, the full cost of the reservation is non-refundable.

If you book through our destination weddings website, Stephanie Parks will contact you a month before to coordinate transfers to and from the airport based on your flights. If you do not book through the destination wedding website you will need to book transfers separately.

As much as we love children and are grateful for the role they play in our lives, we have chosen an adults only resort (18+) to celebrate our wedding.

Yes! A passport is needed to travel into Mexico. Please also note, if your passport is within 6 months of expiration May 2025, you will not be able to travel.

The resort is 20 miles north of the airport and about a 35 minute car ride.

Yes! Please note, if you choose to stay somewhere else, there will be a fee required to visit the Secrets Playa Blanca resort. The fee to attend the wedding (for guests staying outside of the Secrets Playa Blanca resort only) is $85 USD per person for five hours. A day pass longer than 5 hours will cost more per person. Please let Joey & Michelle know if you will be choosing this option so we can share with the resort coordinator.
