Joey and Michael began the year 2020 living 2590.4 miles apart and having no clue either existed. Thanks to a local pandemic and fortunate happenstance Joey packed up his life in New York and moved to Coeur d'Alene ID for a job.

Joey found Michael while swiping on Hinge and decided to message him. Micahel himself was taking a "break from dating" and so did not see, nor respond to Joey's message for 2 months.

Michael and Joey chatted for a while before deciding to meet up on October 2, 2020 for a drink and some appetizers. They then spent the next day going for a hike on Beacon Hill as Michael explained the entire series of Game of Thrones to Joey.

After a year and a half of dating, They decided it was time to move in together. Michael and Joey got their first apartment together in downtown Spokane, where they lived for over a year before purchasing their first home.

Their story has been filled with laughter and joy since the beginning and they are excited to continue to grow in their love as husbands.
