We recommend flying into Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) as it is the nearest airport to the venue. FCO is 34 miles from Villa Clodia, our wedding venue. You can take the train directly from the airport to Roma Trastevere and then change trains to travel directly into either Manziana-Canale Monterano or Bracciano depending on where you are staying. There is a direct flight from CLT airport into FCO. The other closest airport in Rome is Rome Ciampino (CIA) located 39 miles from the venue.

Villa Clodia will be hosting our 3 day wedding weekend. The address is Via del Mattiolo, 3, 00066 Manziana (RM), Italia. We recommend staying in Manziana or Lake Bracciano. Please refer to "transport" section for more information.

Yes, we sure do! We have 10-15% off when you book your stay at the Terme di Stigliano 4 star hotel in Manziana. Please let her know that you are with the Peebles wedding at Villa Clodia on June 15, 2024. As well, we have a room block discount for the 5 star hotel in Lake Bracciano Vigna Caio Relais & Spa. If you wish to attend all weekend wedding events and/or are apart of the bridal party please arrive in Rome by Thursday, June 13, 2024 as check in at most places is around 3 pm, check out will be Monday morning June 17, 2024. Please account for travel times in order to attend the welcome dinner Friday June 14th if you plan to do so. If you are apart of the bridal party please do not leave the US later than June 12th to ensure you are able to make it to the welcome party.

Please look into flights ASAP as availability and pricing might change. Please make it a priority to book your flights at least 6 months in advance to guarantee best pricing. We recommend using Hopper to track flight pricing. Kayak and Skyscanner will give you the best deals and times for your flights as well. There is a direct flight from the Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) into Fiumicino Airport (FCO).

Please place your passport orders ASAP as this process is very lengthy and can sometimes be drastically delayed. *PSA* If your US passport expires within 3-6 months of your travel date (your travel date at the latest would be June 13,2024) from the US to Europe you CAN NOT travel. Your passport expiration date IS NOT your passport expiration date - it's 6 months before the expiration date (some countries 3 months). You CAN order a new passport before your passport expiration date listed. Please do so ASAP if you fall under this category. Please make this a top priority.

The weather in Italy in June is pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 80°F and lows of 63°F. Please check the weather ahead of traveling.

All wedding events will be held outdoors.

Please do not bring a guest unless specifically mentioned on the invitation as this is a very small intimate wedding with only our closest friends and family. No children allowed. Thank you for understanding!

Lunch and dinner reservations in Italy in June are extremely difficult to get. Please book your reservations 2 months in advance of your travel date or you will most likely not be able to obtain a reservation at your favorite restaurants.
