Area/Travel

If you are traveling from out of town and not familiar with area, Georgetown Lake is about an hour from Butte and less than 30 minutes from Anaconda. Nearby airports include Butte, Missoula, Helena, or Bozeman. 

Camp W

Our venue does have some camp lodging with beds for our more adventurous guests if you would like to experience some childhood camp nostalgia. It is bring your own bedding and the bathrooms and showers are separate bath cabins (women’s and men’s). There is a strict maximum capacity for overnight guests so please let us know if you think you would like to stay at Camp W. We do also have the venue for Friday night as well.

There are options for full cabins/houses nearby at Georgetown lake (many of these do require a two night minimum stay unfortunately, but if you wanted to make a family weekend out of it the lake is beautiful!) There are also options in nearby Anaconda (~25 minutes away) or Philipsburg (~20 minutes away).

Philipsburg Bay Campground

Rate: $17 per night

Just over the hill from Camp W and situated on the next bay. This is the larger of the two nearest campgrounds. There are plenty of spots with 34 of them as pre-reserve and 34 available as first come first serve.

Piney Campground

Rate: $17 per night

This campground is in the same bay as Camp W and just a 3 minute drive. It does only allow 17 spots as pre-reserve. The remaining 29 are first come first serve.
