Q + A

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Our wedding dress code is semi-casual.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

You will be able to RSVP on our wedding website after you receive a formal invitation in the mail.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We thought you would like the night off, so we are having an adults-only wedding.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes! When you RSVP, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, thank god!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes, there will be a bit of a gap so that we are able to take pictures. The wedding ceremony will probably go until 4 and cocktail hour will not start until 5:30. We recommend stopping by The Moose Preserve for a drink or going for a walk around the grounds at Cranbrook to help pass the time.

I have never been to a Catholic wedding. What should I expect?

Andrew’s answer: Tons of fun. Johanna’s answer: Our wedding ceremony with be part of a Catholic mass which includes readings from the Bible, hymns, prayers, and communion. If you are not Catholic or are unfamiliar with the mass, you don’t need to participate in communion, you will simply follow the cues to stand and sit when the congregation does.
