Jordyn and John's paths first crossed in Southern California, where Jordyn, a senior USC Song Girl, and John, a junior USC baseball player, found themselves connected through mutual friends in the early fall of 2019. What began as a casual introduction soon turned into a playful game of cat and mouse, with a first date finally materializing after several months. From that moment, the chemistry was immediate, and their connection rippled into something extraordinary. Getting along effortlessly, their first date quickly became a cornerstone in their story.

2021 marked a significant milestone as John began his first professional baseball season, and Jordyn secured a job at the iconic SoFi Stadium. Embracing new beginnings, they decided to take the next step and move in together, creating their first home in Culver City. Amidst the whirlwind of professional pursuits, John successfully completed his education, earning his degree. As they settled into the rhythm of life together, their home became filled with love, laughter, and cats.

With the prospect of new adventures, they decided to make the leap to Texas. Jordyn accepted a job at Texas Motor Speedway that prompted their relocation. John dedicated himself to three successful seasons across multiple levels of his professional baseball career, and the fall of 2023 brought a significant turning point. He decided to hang up the cleats and pivot in a new direction, where he has taken on an exciting role at a fast paced tech company, Kigo.
