Our Wedding

In 2020, we both got a job at the Migrant Program in Bird Island. Our first day working together, I fell down the stairs and John claims "I have been falling for him ever since". As the summer went on, we would talk at work but that was it. In July of 2020, I reached out to John to ask a simple question with the secret hopes that we would keep snapchatting and talking. At the end of summer, we were at a party together and I did not leave his side but he didn't complain about it either ;). One of my friends that was with me at the party knew I liked John before I would admit it.Summer ended and we went our ways to college and continued to talk. One night with some liquid courage for the both of us, we admitted we actually liked each other (writing that sounds so cringy but it's the truth).In October of 2020, he asked me on a date to Gary's where I gave him zero choice in what we were ordering which was obviously cream cheese pepperoni pizza. After that, we hung out a couple times.December 16, 2020, I asked John "So what are we?" as the impatient person I am. And then after he responded a smart a** comment of course, he asked me to be his girlfriend.Fast Forward to July 28, 2025, he asked me to marry him and it was the easiest 'yes'.
