If you were to guess where they met, you'd never think it would be a bar. However, in 2015 John and Leigh Ann met at Whiskey Dix in Murfreesboro, TN. That night they exchanged numbers and then Leigh Ann never heard from him. A couple months later John's brother was dating a friend of Leigh Ann's and their paths crossed again. From that point on there was no turning back.To make it simple, life hit hard and harder in 2018 and they separated. Over the next 4 1/2 years they each grew and lived separate lives. In 2023 John reached out. Leigh Ann had messaged him a year prior because a piece of mail kept coming to her house and he didn't see that message until a year later, almost to the day. He asked how she had been and the conversation led to him asking if they could go to church together. He had no idea, but Leigh Ann decided that year that her relationship with God was going to take priority and she had prayed that the next man to come into her life would be a man she could continue to grow in Christ with.As in any relationship there have been highs, lows, in-betweens, bright days, and some darker days. But in every day they chose to grow together, talk through what life is throwing at them, and work through it all. They are thankful to take this next step in marriage and to continue to grow in a union where God is the center and their strongest common ground.

Jessica and Leigh Ann met fall of 2003 in Biology class and grew a friendship that has stood the test of times. The true definition of friendship and family. They share memories that can be told between themselves by a few short words. Jessica and Leigh Ann have shared some of life's brightest and darkest days. They have built a business solely based on their love for creating things. To know them is to know they are complete opposites in so many ways. Jessica has been the voice of reason, the brutal honesty that has been needed some days, and a constant support system. 
Leigh Ann knew she couldn't start this next chapter without Jessica by her side. 

Jessica Fuqua

Claire came into Leigh Ann's life through a FaceTime call in 2016 with her brother, Claire's now husband. From the first time they met in person Claire became her sister immediately. God placed Claire in the Medlin family with a purpose and Leigh Ann is grateful every day to have her. Claire is a phone call away for a vent session, bragging session, and sometimes just to talk because it's been a couple days and it feels "weird". 
Prior to John and Leigh Ann reuniting, Claire had faith that their paths would cross again and openly voiced that. Claire has and always will be the biggest cheerleader any person could ever ask for. To know her is to love her and the light she brings into this world!

Claire Medlin

Laura is Leigh Ann's older sister. During childhood they fought and disagreed on everything - typical sisters. 
Adulthood brought many changes, and the biggest being a shift in their relationship. From just being the annoying sister to being someone they could each depend on. Life has thrown many curve balls and they have grown through them all. Laura made Leigh Ann an aunt for the first time when she married her husband and again when she gave birth. Being an aunt has been one of Leigh Ann's most cherished titles she has held and she is grateful always for the friendship that bloomed from the sisters who always fought and could never agree on anything.
1,400 miles separate them now but Leigh Ann knew she needed to have her sister standing with her on one of the happiest days of her life.

Laura Levine

Amber is a ray of sunshine in the darkest room! Leigh Ann met Amber when she started dating John in 2015. Amber was always more than just her boyfriend's sister. She became an amazing friend and they shared a love of Zumba and weekend hangouts at the house. Amber was always a listening ear when Leigh Ann needed it. To say the friendship was missed for a few years would be an understatement. Leigh Ann knew she needed her sister, and friend, standing with her.

Jolene "Booger" came into Leigh Ann's life in 2010 and was an absolute miracle. Although she will never fully understand, Jolene was the absolute ray of sunshine Leigh Ann needed in a dark time. Jolene was Leigh Ann's little sidekick on the weekends when her parents were at work and they would spend time making as many memories as possible. Jolene gave Leigh Ann her nickname "Boogie" and it stuck for all of her siblings. Jolene was and always has been a constant reminder that true and unconditional love exists, and sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince charming! Jolene has always been a defender of those she loves. And if you're someone she loves your heart will never be the same. To know her is to know that, as her Pop said, angels really do exist! Out of all the boogers, she'll always pick Jolene and Leigh Ann knew she couldn't say "I do" without her!

Jolene Levine

Juliette "JuJu" is Leigh Ann and John's youngest niece. If you were to ask John in secret, he would tell you she is his favorite. Juju and Leigh Ann share a love of music of all genres. She is a lover of all things - Jesus, family, softball, gymnastics, music, friends, and the list goes on. After Leigh Ann moved to Christiana, they would plan as many weekend sleepovers as they could. Even after a move that has separated them by 1,400 miles, they continue to have movie nights, phone calls where they talk for hours, and regular check-ins just to see how life is going. Juju is a beacon of hope in this crazy world and Leigh Ann and John are proud and grateful daily to be her aunt and uncle. Although her beauty may outshine Leigh Ann a little on the day of the wedding, Leigh Ann and John knew there wouldn't be a more perfect addition to the wedding party than having Juju walk down as their flower girl.

Campbell and Wallace are John and Leigh Ann's nephews. They are the life of the party and each carry a special part of their Pop with them! Don't come too close... Campbell will bust a move that'll knock your socks off and Wallace will melt you with his smile! But taking the risk for one of their oh-so-special hugs is well worth it! 
The Medlin boys have been chosen to secure the rings. John and Leigh Ann know their cute smiles and beaming personalities are exactly what they need to make sure the rings make it down the aisle. And, of course, to make sure the best dance moves make it to the floor!

Anthony is John's son. They share a relationship that John cherishes more than any other. They also share a love for fishing and all things outdoors. They spent Anthony's teenage years butting heads quite a bit - because they are so much alike. From the way they laugh to the way they start their days, you can see so much of themselves in each other.  Raising Anthony has been John's greatest achievement in life and he couldn't be more proud of the man he has become. John knew he couldn't take this step without the support and love of his son and he is blessed to have him stand next to him.

Lukas will be John's brother-in-law but they have been brothers for many years. Through the years they have shared memories fishing and just kicking back. John is thankful for the family he has gained and knowing that he has more than a friend in Lukas. He is honored that Lukas agreed to stand by his side on this special day!

Lukas Medlin

John met Scott through work at Sledgecraft and they have grown a friendship over the years. If you know John you know he is a man of few words, but will talk for hours if these two manage to get on the phone together. John admires Scott's faith and knows he has a true friend in him. 

Scott Chlebowski

John met Jason through Leigh Ann's best friend, Jessica. It took a while for them to have much conversation as they are both men of few words, until you get to know them. The Fuqua family is an important part of our family and John is honored to have Jason stand with him as he takes this next step.

Demyan is John and Leigh Ann's nephew. When asking who his groomsmen would be, John knew he needed to have Demyan standing up there with him. John cherishes the memories of fishing and shooting out in the back yard! He is very proud of the young man he is becoming and enjoys the time they do get to spend together, although it isn't often now. This will be a very special memory he will hold dearly!

Jameson and Kade will be John and Leigh Ann's ushers for the ceremony (It may have taken some bribery and a promise of food to get them to agree). These boys are full of energy and John and Leigh Ann love getting to cheer them on at the ball field! If you ever need a good laugh or an honest answer, they'll be here for you! Jameson is Leigh Ann's bestie's son and Kade is his best friend. It's never a dull moment when they are around and they'll have everybody smiling when getting ready for the ceremony!
