Here’s the story of a lovely lady, who was raising an amazing young man on her own. She prayed for God’s will for her life and hoped for a partner.



It’s the story of a man named John, who was raising two strong and amazing young men on his own. He prayed that if it was God’s will for him to have a partner, that he would reveal that in His time.



‘Til the one when the fella messaged the lady. He offered to power wash her house for a Reeces cup and a fire pit. She declined because her house had just been washed.



After some time, she realized that he might be trying to get to know her. She talked to her son and to her surprise, he greatly respected John and was encouraging her to talk to him. John cooked for the football team, and his son Ryan played right next to Alex on the line! 



She messaged him and he came over on Saturday, November 9. She followed through with a Reeces cup and added a sub from Aromas Pizza. They talked over the meal and haven’t stopped since.



The next day, Lori had a concert and John came to listen. They shared a meal at Habeneros and then sat by the fire pit, sharing some smiles and laughter that evening. John was respectful and said he needed to get home because it was a school night. As he was about to stand up, Lori offered her hand. He thought she was helping him up, but she asked him to dance right in the living room as music played on the TV.



The weeks to follow quickly filled with coffee dates, church, prayers, concerts, karaoke, and many more adventures including three young men and their girlfriends, two dogs and 3 cats.

John proposed one beautiful morning at sunrise. Lori went to watch a sunrise as she often does, and John showed up behind her and tugged her shirt. She turned around and was completely caught off guard by John taking a knee. 💍

And now, they start the beginning of their forever together. ♥️
