She was minding her own business, reading a book, and he was brave and presumptuous, ready to take the plunge and strike up a conversation.

After nearly an hour of talking, both walked away hoping the connection would grow. Thanks to the Brookside church cafe, a Fort Wayne pub, and the promptings of friends and family, John and Danielle's relationship sprouted and took root.

The relationship was first tested when Danielle left for Beirut, and John faithfully stayed connected with her by calling her late at night or in the early hours of the morning for nearly a month.

When they were reunited, it was clear things were going to last, and both were committed through the ups and downs of life. In the shadow of God's grace and favor, John and Danielle cultivated their relationship through the summer, and were engaged in early Autumn.

Given that both John and Danielle are CPAs, and are held captive to duties and deadlines, it was important for the couple to get married before another extended time apart (they had done it once, and vowed never again).

John and Danielle enjoy many things together, including ping-pong, camping, running, attending church, beating their parents in Euchre and corn-hole, visiting with friends, and dreaming of a new life. They also enjoy traveling together, and have already visited Chattanooga and Pittsburgh, with Houston on the books and a honeymoon in Mexico or Hawaii.

With eager anticipation and tender gratitude to their Lord, the couple are excited to invite friends and family to witness their marriage and join in the celebration of two lives becoming one.
