John and Emily matched on Tinder back in February of 2020. Soon after, everyone was sent home from school while COVID-19 was running rampant. With John living in North Carolina and Emily up in New Jersey, things seemed bleak. But if luck would have it, Emily got a job down in Greenville, NC and remembered that cute guy who lived in the same state. Next thing you know, they reconnected and haven't been apart since. Driving 3.5 hours every other weekend quickly turned into living together, getting engaged and buying a house.

Shuttle Schedule for Wedding Day

3:00PM - Pick up at BOTH hotels - This is the ONLY pick up at the Hilton Garden Inn   3:30PM - Pick up at Home 2 Suites - Bridal Party shuttle pick up   4:45PM - First shuttle leaves for reception - Continuous loop after this to Lane Stadium   9:30PM - First shuttle back to hotels   10:00PM - Second shuttle back to hotels   10:30PM - Third shuttle back to hotels   11:00PM - Continuous shuttles back to hotels   11:30PM(ISH) - Shuttle from Home2 to TOTS to continue the party

Hailing from Cudahy, Wisconsin, Noah has been a close friend of John's for the better half of a decade.

A fellow New Jersey resident, Virginia Tech Alum and Chi Omega, Kelly is Emily's eldest cousin on her father's side.

Nick and John have been close friends since their days in Cub Scouts. He is always down for a trip, whether it is across town or across the country.

A fellow Jersey Girl. Amanda has been one of Emily's friends since they were young, although Amanda would love to tell you to the story about how Emily used to hate her.

A fellow Hokie and New Jerseyan, Chris and John have been friends since college. Chris is always down for long talks about this, that and the other.

An old WNCT coworker turned friend for life. Miss Jenkins is one of Emily's go to friends for advice and her favorite person to shop with.

The grillmaster of the group, Ellis is always down for good times around the smoke pit.

A fellow Taylor Swift and Harry Styles fanatic. Ashlin cannot properly put on sunblock (ask the Bride's parents) and adores her three kitties.

Emily's younger brother. He loves video games and playing with the family dog, Nala. Ryan doesn't say much but he is Emily's favorite person.

Aside from being John's younger sister, Maddie has become a fast friend of Emily's. She is in her final year of law school at the University of Georgia and loves reading. 


Madeleine Galbreath

Terrell and John have been friends since their first day in high school. A self-proclaimed professional golf player, Terrell can be found at the driving range or hitting up the guys for a round of 18.
