Near Pescadero/Half Moon Bay

Town of Pescadero - tiny town but worth a little visit. Get a cup of craft coffee at Downtown Local and explore the little shops in the area. There are plenty of hikes and beaches in the area once you have got your caffeine fix.

Dad's Luncheonette (Half Moon Bay) - very cute lunch spot. open: Thursday to Sunday 11-4 pm

Johnny's (Half Moon Bay) - a brunch spot with a great name (in our opinion). open: Tuesday to Sunday 8 am - 2 pm)

Rosalind Bakery (Pacifica) - one of my favorite sourdoughs in the Bay Area & they make wonderful pastries too (they make an appearance on the wedding day & the day after 👀 )

Thursday Nights at the Academy of Sciences - museum adults only / cocktails

Day Moon - favorite bakery in San Francisco

Palm City - natural wine, nibbles, and known for their sandwiches (which sell out early)

Hook Fish - poke burritos & fresh fish casual restaurant / takeaway and eat in park or at the beach

Golden Gate Park - great place to walk around (or run). Visit the De Young museum, botanical gardens, and walk down JFK to the Height-Ashbury Neighborhood

Height-Ashbury- quirky little shopping neighborhood that embodies SF in the sixties. Known for thrift stores, vinyl shops, tattoo/piercing parlors etc.

Lower Height - a good neighborhood to stop for a drink / food: Woods beer & wine, Bar Jabroni - new opening wine and nibbles, Millay wine bar (check out the instagram for weekly tastings / popup happenings)

Castro - San Francisco's vibrant LGBTQ+ neighborhood.

Alamo Square & Painted Ladies (historical site). enjoy a cup of coffee from the Lady Falcon coffee truck

Divisadero - street near Alamo with great bars restaurants. Some favorites include: The Mill - a personal favorite for coffee & toast, Sightglass - great craft coffee shop, Fools Errand wine bar, Horsefeathers fancy bar food and cocktails, Che Fico - Italian and great wine list, Nopa (california cuisine - reservations necessary to get a spot), and for more casual options : 4505 burgers & bbq, Souvla (greek) or Katsuo & Kombu (ramen)

The Valley Tavern - best irish bar in the city ;)

Golden Gate Bridge - the most stunning bridge in the world

Crissy Field - great place to park and walk to the bridge. Make sure stop at Equator Coffee's Round House Golden Gate Bridge for a shaken matcha.

Presidio Tunnel Park - a newly constructed park above the freeway (part of the city's infrastructure reuse project) with great views of the bridge.

Marina - a cute neighborhood with soul cycle classes on every corner (jk but it gives that vibe along with vibe of day drinking). Some bars/restaurants to check out include: Palmetto - acia smoothie bowls, Wildseed - a vegetarian restaurant, A16 - pizza / great wine list, Celeste - wine bar, Popies Oysterette

Fillmore - beautiful street to walk down from Jackson st. to Bush st. packed with nice clothing stores, restaurants, bars. Jane on Fillmore- bread/breakfast cafe, Little Shucker - wine bar with oysters/seafood and Salt & Straw for ice cream

Blue Bottle - great craft coffee shop with several locations throughout the Bay Area. They can be found all over CA and big US cities these days, but the Original location was SF.

East Bay Marin

Mount Tam - hike up the tallest mountain in the area

Hook Fish - poke & fresh fish casual restaurant with an outside garden

Point Reyes - a great place for a long hike or run to the coast
