It all started with the festivals. This is our first festival (the Tomato Festival). We also had a Hot Dog Festival, Bagel Festival, and many more. At our fun festivals we would just eat the food that it was named after.

Newman Spring Fling. John and Isabel danced together a lot. But we were just friends.

"The Wedding." Matt and Erica Fearday asked Isabel to do the music at their wedding. She was too scared to play the piano so she asked John to play so she could sing. Isabel then asked John to come to the reception to spend more time with her.

Our First Date! We went to watch a musical. Sunday in the Park with George at Kiwanis Park in Charleston.

John "officially" asked Isabel to be his girlfriend at a Newman Leadership Retreat.

Our first "nice" picture together. We look like babies!

Panther Awakening 10. We were both small group leaders and led the Praise and Worship at the Retreat.

EIU Homecoming. We walked in the parade with Choices Pregnancy Center and had fun at the tailgate before the Homecoming Football Game.

Isabel's Graduation. She really didn't graduate until December though after student teaching.

Holly and Ben Geisler Wedding. Best day ever! We danced all night.

We've been dating for one year! We went to the shrine of Our Lady of Snows to celebrate.

Erica and Aaron Worman's Wedding. John's sister Erica got married. John was a groomsman and played the piano of course.

Panther Awakening 11. John and Isabel were the Coordinators of this Retreat. Being in charge of this many college students is a lot of work. We love going on retreats and leading this one together was a lot of fun.

Isabel's first visit to the Deters Farm. John always talked about how he loved to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Deters farm growing up.

Halloween Dance. We dressed up as St. Teresa of Avila and St. John of the Cross. Two saints that were good friends.

Newman Night 2023. Isabel and John were both recipients of the Julian Hamerski Leadership Award.

John surprised Isabel with a date in Indianapolis. She had no idea where they were going. It was a great day.

Isabel's first time skiing she was scared and was not very good at it.

We went to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City, Mexico. Bringing flowers to Our Lady.

Cameron and Justin Fleck's Wedding. The first of Isabel's six college roommates to get married.

John graduated college. Do we have to be adults now?

John and Isabel did the music for Grace and Logan Waldoff's Wedding. We enjoyed it so much. Playing music together is our favorite thing to do if you didn't know. Let us know if you want us to do your wedding! Haha

John proposed in St. Michael Church in Sigel, the church we will be getting married in.
