John and Megan met the good ole fashion way… the dating app, Hinge. One warm, summer day in July of 2020, John was minding his own business when he came across a photo of Megan’s dog, Finn, and was struck - it was love at first sight!

Just a few weeks and another dog-acquisition later (we love you, Apollo!), John and Megan found themselves enjoying a socially-distanced sunset picnic at Gas Works Park in Seattle. Over some delicious white wine and charcuterie that John so thoughtfully curated, the two spent hours learning about each other’s jobs, hobbies and interests while the sun set behind the Fremont Bridge. Now, what’s that saying again? Ah yes, and the rest was history!

If asked to reflect, John and Megan would both say that they distinctly remember the day they both fell in love with one another. They had spent the day wandering the picturesque, Bavarian-inspired town of Leavenworth, WA, dipping in and out of boutiques, enjoying a delicious wine tasting, and of course making a stop for some German pretzels. With not a plan in the world for that day, they were able to soak up the spontaneity of it all, and learn that they were truly the perfect fit for one another.

Fast forward just over three years, they’ve enjoyed so many wonderful memories beside one another. From weekends away with best friends, annual trips to Las Vegas, moving into their home in Seattle, time spent with both their California and New York families, and of course getting engaged in beautiful Paris, it has been nothing short of delightful.

And now, the next (and arguably most exciting) chapter is on the horizon, and they can’t wait to celebrate it with their favorite people!
