John and I met in summer 2020. I had a mutual friend who John rode motorcycles with. I was invited to a lake day on lake Orion and he was there with a few other friends. We knew there was something special there from the start. We talked about our lives and what we enjoyed doing. So much matched up like music, motorcycles, disc golf, social activities, types of shoes we wore (skater shoes), we even had the same car. We were both getting over nasty divorces and found comfort in each other. We hung out non stop until December, and then we decided to take some time to work on ourselves. I started to date again but as soon as John found out, he knew he didn't want to loose the love of his life and decided to make things official in January 2021. We spoke seriously about what we both wanted in the relationship. Before we knew it, I was selling my house I had bought a year before to move me and the kitties in with him and Sasha bean (doggie). Since then we have taken time to grow together in our love and set a strong foundation for our lives. John proposed November 12, 2022. We both knew we wanted children so when the doctors told us it was now or never, we took that to heart. In late January 2023 we found out we were having a baby girl who we named Alice. We are so excited to have our daughter at our wedding.
