Friday night: Please join the Bride & Groom at AJ's Bar & Grill in Cape Charles for drinks and to watch Virginia Tech football!! The Bride & Groom hope to be at the bar around 8 PM (if not before!).
BUS INFORMATION FOR GUESTS STAYING AT THE HAMPTON INN & SUITES IN EXMORE!!!!
Pre-wedding:
The bus will arrive at 3:00 PM to begin loading for departure at 3:10 PM.
Post-wedding:
After the celebrations are concluded, the bus will be departing the venue at 10:30 PM for guests to return to the Hampton Inn.
Please note!!! The bus can hold 20 guests. It will be first come, first serve, so please plan to follow the times listed above to secure your ride!
BUS INFORMATION FOR GUESTS STAYING IN CAPE CHARLES!!
Pre-wedding: Attendees staying in Cape Charles, we will have two timing options:
The first bus will arrive at (or near, depending on parking) Hotel Cape Charles at 3:15 PM for a 3:20 PM departure. The second and final transport to the venue will arrive at the same location at 3:40 PM for a 3:45 PM departure (please be on time as this trip will get you there right before wedding begins).
Post-wedding:
First bus will leave the venue at 10:30 PM
Second bus will leave the venue at 11:00 PM
Final bus will leave the venue at 11:30 PM
All trips will be going back to the town of Cape Charles!
Please Note!!! The bus can hold 20 guests and the bus accommodations will be first come, first serve. Please follow the times above to secure your ride to the venue! Also, if vehicles need to be left at the venue over night, please ensure to pick them up before noon on Sunday!
WHAT TIME DO THE FESTIVITIES START?
The ceremony will begin at 4pm. We kindly ask you to arrive 15-30 minutes early to find a seat before the "I Do's"!
WILL THE WEDDING BE OUTDOORS?
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be outside on the grass, so please plan accordingly. The ceremony will be uncovered, while the reception will be held under a tent, and the party (dancing) will be inside and outside of the barn.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults only celebration. We hope you take this opportunity to treat our wedding day as a night to relax and enjoy! We greatly appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us!
CAN I BRING A DATE?
We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire for our wedding. We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride (whites, ivories, or creams) and please no jeans, sneakers, or any casual wear!
The ceremony and reception will be in a grassy area, so ladies please take this into account when choosing your footwear (would recommend block heels)!
WHERE SHOULD OUT-OF-TOWN GUESTS STAY?
Please check out the "Travel" tab with places to stay. We recommend staying at one of the various boutique hotels, B&Bs, or rental houses located in the fun town of Cape Charles. Staying in Cape Charles will allow you to be minutes away from the venue and close to many fun activities and restaurants that the town offers.
If guests prefer staying at a traditional hotel, we do have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suits in Exmore, VA and more information can be found under the "Travel" tab as well!
