There's nothing quite like planning a wedding in a pandemic! I guess Justine had to one up her sister's wedding day, and the only thing bigger than a hurricane is a pandemic.

When we first met Justine just finished running 15 miles ( and really needed a shower.) I guess that I was able to see the beauty through the visible cartoonesque stink lines. For the longest time she was known to the McCanns "the neighbor" or "Christine, no wait Justine." I must have talked about her enough because people are finally starting to get her name right.

After Justine became single, and after waiting what I thought was an appropriate amount of time, or what Justine would call way too long, we started dating.

Just before our first kiss, Justine poisoned me with 8-year-old beer. I don't think she has forgiven me for puking seconds after our first kiss. (Justine - this was our second kiss. The first time I tried to kiss him, John wouldn't stop laughing.) Third times a charm. Get over it.

One evening, I convinced Justine to go watch the sunset on a cloudy day and proposed to her before either of our families could spill the beans. After Justine stopped bouncing with excitement she finally said yes. (Technically, he never asked me to marry him. He only asked me to hold a box. - Justine)

She had told me that she wanted to wear her grandmother's ring, because of the family history. So far she has only lost it once (as a backup I got her a $17 one from walmart)

So far planning the wedding has been more fun than stepping on legos but not by much. One of these days we will find a place to have the reception or we will all just have to party in the church parking lot. Either way I'm sure everyone will have a good time.
