Riverfront Park is 100 acres and is the. jewel of downtown Spokane and home to the largest urban waterfall in the United States, it’s an impressive sight and so much else to checkout downtown with great restaurants and shopping. Tubbs Hill in Coeur d'Alene is also a great for hiking and just a few miles away.
The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
is one of the many museums associated with the Smithsonian and it boasts five underground galleries, an orientation gallery and an outdoor amphitheater. It focuses on American Indian culture, regional Washington history and visual arts and has many unique and beautiful exhibits.
is a beautiful park with an arboretum, lush botanical gardens, a lovely pond which is home to ducks/geese/swans, and quiet Japanese gardens. The park also includes a European garden, the Gaiser Conservatory, and the Rose Hill which hosts 1,500 blossoming bushes representing over 150 varieties.

Lakes & Rivers
There is also no shortage of lakes and rivers for on-the-water adventures including fishing and boating. Fly fishing on the Spokane River or a charter fishing trip on Lake Coeur d'Alene are 2 fun activities. Rent a boat on Lake Coeur d'Alene to get out on the water for the day is also a great idea for a day of fun!
