Our Wedding

Former high school friends that were brought together unsuspectingly many years later. A relationship that started from the act of making sure Elena and a friend got home safely from a bar, turned into a blossoming love that will with stand the test of time.   Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant, and we were so nervous that we didn't even order food or eat the free chips and salsa that were brought to the table. Fast forward multiple months and our favorite weekend activity is scoping out new restaurants to try.   We moved in together in McLean, VA and knew that something was missing. A four-legged friend filled the void in any form of free time we had before, and we could not be any happier.   As time goes on, we continue to enjoy each other's time by finding new food to try, new adventures, and with our conversations during our many walks with our dog.

Chase has been John's childhood friend ever since the Lewis family moved in across the street from John's family many years ago. Through college, multiple moves, and time, John and Chase continue to develop their friendship.

Erika has been Elenas childhood best friend. They have been friends since the start of their soccer careers. (The soccer careers that did last long). Erika is a trustworthy, loving, and most importantly caring friends. They share the love of chipotle, while watching YouTube. Erika is not only a best friend, but she is a person she can call a sister.

Matt has been a great friend of John's since their time in college at the Virginia Military Institute.

David and John met in McLean, VA while living in the same apartment complex. John and David share similar interests in golf and Korean BBQ.

Christian and John met in McLean, VA while living in the same apartment complex. John and Christian both have dobermans and share the love of fitness and personal health. 

Christian Lewis

Nick and John were roommates in college at the Virginia Military Institute. Nick and John have been friends for years and have shared multiple hunting trips together, although Nick was the only one to end a trip not empty handed.

Kimmy has been a great friend of Elena's since their time in college at the University of Lynchburg. Kimmy and Elena shared many classes together...Kimmy also helped Elena in many classes., There are so many memories I can talk about. My number one favorite memory of Kim is how she met me....I will let you ask her about it. They have shared many long nights of laughter and many adventures.

Elissa has been a great friend of Elena's since their time in college at the University of Lynchburg. They have shared many long nights of laughter and many adventures.  "Morgan and Olga have also shared many long fun nights together".

Shannon has been Elenas best friend since high school. They met through Erika. Shannon and Elena have shared man laughs together, memories and adventures. I was lucky to have been by her side on her big day, now I am honored to have Shannon stand by myside on my big day!

Alena has been Elena's childhood friends since they both met in Russia, at the orphanage they grew up in. Alena is not only a strong, loving and kind friends, but she is a sister in Elenas eyes. She would not be where she is today if it wasn't for the little Russian girl in the orphanage taking Elena under her wing.

....If you ask her, I am ELENA number 1 and she is Alena number 2.

Sophie is one of Elena's best friends, she met Elena through Erika. Sophie is a warm, kind, and genuine friend. She has always supported and helped Elena out with big or small life choices.
