On a crisp night in September 2021 John & Livy's mutual friend Sophie dragged a disgruntled Livy out of her dorm to a college block party. Meanwhile John was already there eating and chatting with his bro-mance friends. After fun night of corn-hole and awkward small talk the introduction had been made. In the coming months they started studying together, playing games with friends, going on late night food runs, and having very late-night (early morning???) chats. After texting and FaceTiming non-stop over Christmas break John & Livy finally addressed the elephant in the room and decided to see where things would go. The next week John asked Livy out once, then again, then again.

Over the next year John & Livy continued to grow in their relationship together, enjoying the good times and supporting each other through the challenges of life. In May they graduated college together, and that summer moved to Charlotte, NC to start a new adventure in life together.

On November 6th, a perfect fall night,John brought Livy to a park in Uptown Charlotte that is special to them for their weekly date night. After a short walk John got down on a knee and Livy said yes. They had a nice dinner afterward and the rest is history. John & Livy can't wait for the rest of their lives together and to see what the future holds.
