Are Children and/or Plus Ones Invited to the Wedding?
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate any additional children or plus ones at our venue if not stated on the invitation.
Can I Take Photos/Videos During the Ceremony?
We will be having an unplugged ceremony and ask for guests to please refrain from taking any photos/videos until after the ceremony. We look forward to sharing our professional photos by our wonderful photographer after the event!
Will the Ceremony and Reception Be Indoors or Outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors as long as weather permits! Ceremony and reception will be in the lovely gardens behind the mansion, while cocktail hour will be inside the mansion. Regardless of weather, everything will still be located at The Highlands.
What is the Dress Code?
Cocktail/semi-formal attire is preferred. Consider that if weather permitting, most of the day will be outdoors and in the garden area..so dress comfortably too! We will have heaters and a select number of shawls during the reception should it get a little chilly at night.
Will There Be an After Party?
Yes! This will still be located at the venue as we will be continuing the party inside the mansion following reception. After party goes from 10pm-11:30pm.
For those relying on shuttle service for the hotel, first shuttle will depart from the venue around 10:15pm, the next shuttle won’t be until 11:30pm.
Is Parking Available at the Venue?
Yes! Though if you are staying at the hotel, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the Marriott and The Highlands. The hotel is an 11-minute drive from the venue.
