John and Katie met while living in the same Freshman dorm in River Falls, Wisconsin back in 2008. While we crossed paths in classes, extracurriculars and the dorm halls much of that first year, our friendship and likeability grew for each other when we both moved onto the same dorm room floor sophomore year!

We hung out lots during sophomore year, but ended up going our separate ways for years following, still seeing each other at events and sharing friend groups.

We reconnected in 2018 when a mutual friend (Best Man, Matt Ryan) discovered Katie was newly single and passed the word along to John. Timing was on our side and we began to hang out more and more frequently, and now here we are!

We can't wait to start this new chapter of our lives together as the Stromquists, and have had the most fun dreaming of our future. We're so happy to have you as a part of the celebration and kick-off of our life as a married couple!
