Hello, my name is Aaron Owen, I’m twenty-three, and John and I’ve been friends for the better part of nine years. In those nine years, I’ve seen a lot of the ups and downs of John’s romantic endeavors, and so naturally I’m excited to see him settling down with a woman who accepts him and the sacrificial love he has eagerly wanted to give since I’ve known him. May God bless them now, and all the days of their lives.

My name is Austin Schwartz and I’m proud to be a member of John and Hadassah’s wedding party. I met John while at Newman University auditioning for “The Dark at the Top of the Stairs” and immediately took a liking to him and brought him under my wing. That was until I realized that John’s wings had grown much bigger than mine and encouraged him to fly on his own. When I witnessed John find such a beautiful dove as Hadassah I had to bring him back to the nest. I did give him a few tips on flying through certain wind patterns and wing techniques, but it was mainly to hear about how happy he was and the over abundance of joy that she brought into his nest. I’m very excited to see them flock together in the Glory of God.

Hi my name is Nathan Galicia, and I originally met John and Hadassah through Campus ministry and they were some of the first people I met when I moved to Newman from Texas. Mine and Hadassah’s friendship stemmed from campus ministry nights, and mine and John’s friendship grew when we were roommates watching TV together or talking till 3am on multiple occasions. I am beyond blessed and honored to be a part of this next step in their life and I cannot wait to see what God has planned for them!

My name is Orly Umbarger. I am Hadassah's sister and (I think) one of her best friends. When Hadassah told me she was dating John, I wasn't really sure what to think, but I could tell she was really happy and I see now that they will be so so so so happy together. Hadassah actually asked me to be her bridesmaid long before she was engaged. I love Hadassah so much, and I'm super excited for them!

Hadassah has been my best friend for a very long time now. I consider our friendship to be the greatest gift I could ever ask for, and I thank God every day for bringing her into my life. Her presence has helped me grow both as a person and as a Christian. I only hope that I have been able to offer the same support and growth to her. It's honestly a little hard for me to believe she's getting married so soon. When she first started dating John she would jump from “I'm probably going to break up with him.” To “Oh my gosh Michael, I'm so in love!” I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash. Although I do not know John all that well, I know Dassie loves and trusts him. Rest assured, if John ever hurts her, he will have me to contend with. But despite my fears, I offer my full support to both Dassie and John. If either of them ever needs anything, I am here for them.

It is I, Gabriel Rasmussen, and I am so stinkin’ happy for my best friend I can't even stand it. Though I wish I could say that I have known Dassie since birth, I can’t, but I can say that though it has only been 12 years since our wonderful friendship was formed it started rather humbly, with awkward jokes that slowly divulged into unhingedness as the years went on. There are a few things I can say that never seemed to change as the years went on, that though all of them are ups and downs, struggles and hardships of personal battles, the three of us have always had each other. As I have gotten to know John, though I have only really met him in person a handful of times, I think that the two of them are perfect for each other and I love that they found each other. I am very happy for them and I wish them both the best and a long and happy life together.

I’m Theresa Light. I met Hadassah at Camp Totus Tuus way back in 2013. We’ve been close friends ever since. We used to have sleepovers all of the time as kids. I would always bug her for year’s about her finding a boyfriend, the closest I ever got to her saying she’s attracted to a man was when she admitted she finds Jason Mamoa attractive. I’ve prayed for her for many years that she will be happy one day with someone amazing, and I was very relieved to know the man she fell in love with was someone who treated her like she’s his whole world. When I found out about John and how sweet he has been to her I was so excited for her! And now they’re getting married. I’m so happy for my favorite couple and can’t wait to see what life has in store for them!
