The day we officially started dating. Both of us were so nervous and ended up having an unforgettable experience. We went to a thrift store, walked John's cat, and watched Stephen Universe.

Kayleena moved to Columbus from Upper Sandusky. Just a couple blocks away from John. We were within walking distance of a lot of local music venue spots and even hosted shows at our places.

We went to Los Angeles for a YouTube convention (Vidcon). We also went to a book signing for one of Kayleena's favorite authors Bryan Lee O' Malley.

John got a job offer in Raleigh, NC and we decided to bite on it! Definitely one of the scariest but best decisions we have made!

We adopted She-Ra! #1 best pup. :)

As a Christmas present, John got Kayleena tickets to Mean Girls the musical which played at the DPAC. It was a pretty emotional experience since the Mean Girls soundtrack was all Kayleena was listening to for all of 2019/2020.

We started going to the Berkeley Cafe for open mics and quickly started making lifelong friends!

First Trip to NYC. We went to see Pavement in Brooklyn and had a friggin blast. We also watched the broadway musical "Hadestown" and only cried 5 times. One of the best experiences in our relationship.

John's band "Wabi-Sabi" played their first show In April 2022. His band is still playing to this day and kick ass!

We had an open mic on the porch (under a Pergola John built :D ). John sang a song he wrote "Let Me Propose in Front of Your Grandma." Next week, they went to Ohio and John formally proposed in front of Kayleena's grandma.

Kayleena started shop as "Eggtroll" selling handmade prints, stickers, and buttons at local pop-up markets.

We celebrated Kayleena's white coat ceremony for perusing an Associate Degree in Biopharmaceutical Technology!
