Kayla and John have been dating since August 2022. Kayla was a travel nurse at the time, and John worked (and still works) at Interbay Food Company. They met online, and their first date was at Salish Brewery in Edmonds WA. Kayla was attracted to John’s joyful disposition and genuine smile. John was attracted to Kayla’s kind heart and loving eyes. Although a usual first lasts about an hour or two, John and Kayla spent the majority of the day together. Edmonds quickly became a home away from home for Kayla, and the couple found peace and comfort in their new parish, Holy Rosary Catholic Church. As they continued date, Kayla continued to work as a travel nurse, and many months of their relationship were spent at a long distance. However they went on many adventures together, such as exploring Butchart Gardens in Victoria BC, hiking the rims of Billings MT, and brewery tours in Bend, OR. In September of 2024, Kayla officially moved to Washington, and John proposed shortly after. They are excited to continue living the adventure of life together, surrounded by faith, family and friends.

John was born and raised in the greater Seattle Area. He has a half-sister who lives in Texas. John’s dad passed away in September of 2011 and his mom lives in Mill Creek, WA. John has been working for Interbay Food Company in Woodinville, WA for 8 yeas as a sales rep, warehouse manager, and HACCP manager. He enjoys road trips, rec sports, and attending athletic events.
