How it started:

April 2018 We were both in College Station, TX for college and we met at a mutual friend's birthday party. We got to talking about food (of course) and Johnathon said, " we should get breakfast sometime". Annie said "yeah sounds great" thinking maybe in a couple weeks? Johnathon said, "okay so tomorrow?". So, we went to Whataburger for breakfast the next morning, eventually working our dates up to dinner, and the rest was history.

How he proposed:

December 17, 2022 That morning, Johnathon graduated from The University of North Texas. All of his family was in town to see him graduate and Annie's family was coming in the evening for his graduation dinner, all to celebrate Johnathon! But Annie didn't know he had something else planned. On the way to dinner, he took a couple of turns too early and we ended up at a park. This park was one of the first places he took Annie when she visited him in Frisco for the first time. Johnathon tells her to get out of the car, and Annie (still oblivious to what is going on) is confused but does as he requested and as they're walking out of the car, she sees a blanket with a cooler and a bottle of champagne. Finally, she realizes what is happening. Johnathon gets down on one knee and asks Annie to marry him! The rest of the evening was spent celebrating with our closest friends and family.
