In the fall of 2017, Joi Nichole Munoz and Ryan Thomas Croy crossed paths at Gold's Gym in Kingwood, Texas. Ryan was immediately captivated by Joi's athleticism, while Joi was intrigued to know more about this handsome stranger.
Over the next few months their connection grew stronger in the crowded gym, over friendly conversations, and some very subtle pressure from her trusted friend and workout partner. Until one Saturday gym session that left Joi wanting to find out more about this intriguing man.
Their first date was a memorable one. Joi invited Ryan to a crawfish boil, which just so happened to be her cousin Kasey's wedding shower. It was the perfect setting for them to get to know each other better, surrounded by her family and friends. From that moment on, they were inseparable, embarking on countless adventures and making lasting memories together.
As their relationship blossomed, they discovered their shared love for competition and spending time with their family and friends. Whether it was a game night around the kitchen table, throwing bags, a game of h-o-r-s-e, a round of golden tee, or a dart tournament they always found joy in making memories with family, friends and each other. It was during these moments of shared passions and laughter that their bond grew stronger and their love deeper.
The moment Ryan proposed to Joi at their favorite Japanese restaurant, Ginger, will forever hold a special place in their hearts. At what was supposed to be Ryan’s 30th birthday dinner, he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking Joi to spend the rest of her life with him. Without hesitation, she said yes knowing their love was something worth cherishing forever.
As we look towards the future, our hopes and dreams are simple yet profound. We want to create a loving home filled with laughter and joy, grow old together in a bond that only deepens with time, and cherish the lasting friendship that we have built over the years.
To all of our beloved friends and family who will be joining us on our special day, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude and excitement. Your presence will make our wedding day even more meaningful and memorable. We invite you to celebrate with us, to laugh with us, to dance with us, and to witness the beginning of our beautiful journey together as husband and wife. Thank you for being a part of our love story.
With love and gratitude,
Joi & Ryan
