Come look at some big red rocks! Garden of the Gods will be busy this time of year, but is a beautiful spot. If you don't want to brave the crowds or the road through the park, we recommend the Mesa Overlook - one of our favorite places to sit and take in the view.

This trail to Catamount Falls and the Catamount reservoirs is Jon's favorite hike, and where Jon and Laura hammocked on Labor Day. The first mile and a half up a road and switchbacks will make you sweat, but the payoff will be worth it when you walk through a small meadow that should be close to full bloom in the end of June, followed by a Pike's Peak view at the reservoir!
