Jon and Amy met in the early summer of 2017. It began with an early afternoon coffee

trip to Peets in Pleasanton during work and a gym date at 24 Hour Fitness that night.

Jon and Amy’s immediate connection was undeniable. From that point on they spent

any “Kid free” weekends getting to know each other while going on mini adventures to

different places all over the bay area. There first trip together in Summer was an

adventure down to Venice Beach, where they hit the “Mecca” Gold’s Gym for a workout.

They saw the musical Jersey Boys and went to the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival

to see Josh Turner in concert. This trip is where they’d both agree they began to fall in

love.

Jon and Amy became inseparable and any chance they could get they would spend the

weekends adventuring all over the state. They began to introduce their kids into the mix

and had even more fun adventuring together with all 5 of them, going to Disneyland,

dinners, parks, movie nights and all types of family fun.

In April of 2020, Jon and Amy took the next step and moved into a house in San Ramon

together, where with the Jonathan, Aubrey and Claire, they made the house into their

family home.

Since then, Jon and Amy have only fallen more in love with eachother and grew even

closer every day. Their “Blended” family thrived and became closer throughout the

years. The laughs and smiles their family shared every day made their hearts full. They

both realized during their journey through the years together that they were meant to be

together. Soulmates. There was only one thing left to push their magical journey over

the top…

In November of 2023, Jon took Amy to their favorite family (And couples) trip destination

to Disneyland. Standing in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, at the direction of Jon,

Disney cast members slowly and discreetly moved other parkgoers aside while Jon and

Amy posed for photos. The Disney photographer had Amy look away momentarily, and

when Amy turned back around, Jon was on one knee, presenting a ring fit for a

princess, and asking for her hand in marriage. Amy said yes!

Jon and Amy now are excited to tie the knot and make their commitment to each other

in front of God, family and friends. There journey to find each other, and to this moment

was only possible to the love and support of those three most important things; God,

Family and Friends.
