Our Wedding

In the beginning there was Jon, Camille and the Holy Spirit…well not exactly but here’s how our story goes! Tricia Myers, the mother of the Gateway Dallas Young Adults, felt the Holy Spirit guiding her to play divine matchmaker. She introduced Jon to Camille. Now they had previously met briefly at a Young Adults night about a month before, but did not get a chance to really get to know each other. Camille keeping that in mind, played dumb and pretended like she had never met Jon before, which worked and Jon said he remembered meeting her previously. They started to figure out they had a lot of similarities between them like, Camille teaches in the same district Jon graduated from and that Jon comes from a big family of educators! Soon a love that neither one of them could have ever dreamed of started to grow. …………………………….………………………………………………………….. Over the course of the next couple months Jon began to figure out she was the one and Camille was still figuring out she had no clue what she was doing, but there is a God fearing man pursuing her and she’s loving every moment of it! Camille was drawn to Jon’s thoughtfulness, intentionality, and love for others in the community. Not to mention he was a goofball that always kept her laughing! Jon was drawn to Camille’s beauty, kindness, and the way she pursued our Lord. There has never been a dull moment since, from Jon dressing up as a turkey to surprise Camille’s grandma for Thanksgiving, to exploring many various coffeeshop's while on road trips; there have been so many wonderful adventures! To ensure the feelings were abiding by the Lord's wisdom and will, Jon and Camille sought pre-martial classes to allow the body of Christ to help discern and strengthen their wonderful relationship. All of this has lead to this momentous occasion of the two becoming one. …………………………….………………………………………………………….. So, here is what Jon and Camille have discovered about how they, as a couple, are stronger together than they are apart. Camille compliments Jon's spontaneous surplus of energy and ideas with her focus and practical mindset. Jon compliments Camille's direct focus by his plethora of alternative perspectives. Camille compliments Jon's engineering mindset by her profound understanding of emotional intelligence. Jon compliments Camille's femineity with his gentleman like demeaner. Jon & Camille are excited to continue discover more about how they compliment each other for the rest of their lives. They look forward to being joined together as one and celebrating this beautiful day with you!
