Transportation on day of event: There will be a White Horse van going between the AC Hotel (9 Glenwood Ave) and the Wedding Venue - Melrose Knitting Mill (309 N Dawson St) during the following time blocks for transportation to and from the event: 3:30 - 4:30 pm &amp; 9:30 - 10:30 pm

Our Wedding

Over seven years ago, we met—and something just clicked. What started as an instant connection quickly grew into an unshakable bond, and before long, we were inseparable best friends. We knew we had something special when we both geeked out over our mutual love of Saab cars and video games. As the years went on, we built a life filled with adventure, creativity, and shared joy. Whether it was discovering new music, experimenting in the kitchen, wandering through local shops, or escaping into the outdoors, we found that the best part of any moment was simply being together. We’ve been lucky enough to explore the world side by side—from the lush landscapes of Maui to the romance of Italy, and countless cities up and down the East Coast. And the best part? We’ve only just begun. Recently, we welcomed a new member into our little family: Banuk, our fluffy Samoyed who somehow manages to be both a total goofball and the best cuddler on Earth. Through all life’s ups and downs, we’ve been each other’s safe place. In a world that can be chaotic and overwhelming, we’ve always been a support system for one another. From cheering each other on through grad school, to building a home full of laughter and love, we’ve walked every step of this journey hand in hand. We’ve been blessed with an incredible community—old friends, new friends, and family who have supported us with so much love. You’ve seen our journey unfold, from “you two are perfect together” to “okay but when are you getting married already?” Well… the time is finally here. We’re getting married in January 2026, and it feels like the perfect moment to celebrate the love we’ve nurtured for nearly a decade. We love each other deeply, and we can't wait to share this day with the people who have meant the world to us. Wedding Party

Regrettably, Banuk will not be the Ring Bearer or at the Ceremony and Reception. He will be in the land of Samoyeds frolicking and playing until we get back from our honeymoon. But there will be plenty of opportunities in the future for everyone to meet him! Additionally, this will be a child free wedding. Unfortunately, the venue is not conducive to children, so we ask that you do not bring them to either the ceremony or the reception. The Wedding Party and Immediate Family will be staying at the AC Hotel in Downtown Raleigh. You are welcome to join us there or any of the surrounding hotels. Wedding Party and Immediate Family Members, hotel block information will be sent out with the formal invitation later this year - be on the lookout!
