We first met while in vet school out in SoCal. Its weird to think that it took us both moving across the country to find our person.

The very first time we met was during an orientation week lunch (though Jon did not remember that we had sat at the same table). Our friendship truly began when we shared one of our small groups with each other. We bonded over having some mutual friends and coming from SEC schools. We would spend some time together watching Kentucky beat UGA in basketball.

Thankfully, Fiona knew what she wanted and made the first move because Jon was too nervous. After we started dating, COVID lockdowns began and we decided to live together for a couple months. We have mentioned many times how that should not have worked as well as it did.

Everything has worked out very well since then. We love to travel together, try new restaurants, and just generally spend time together. We have adopted a cat together (Crispy) and continue to spoil Rosie.

After vet school, we moved to Chicago, where Jon planned the perfect engagement (not to pat myself on the back). We have loved living in the city and are so excited for you all to experience it as well!
