This is a beautiful 9-hole golf course that is always open and located just off Porlier Pass road, close to the Pub. Food is available at the club house. You may run in to Jon here if you play during your stay!

Great day hike accessible to all levels of fitness. The first two thirds is a perfect forest trail and the steeper part of the trail. The final third is a wider forested road that is less steep and a relaxing way to reach the viewpoint.

There is a free parking lot at the entrance to the hike if you follow Georgsson Bay Rd SW from the corner store (opposite direction from the pub).

It will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour each way. We recommend it!

Separate to the wedding venue but named for the proximity, Bodega Ridge Provincial Park has a relatively easy 4km hiking trail that leads you to excellent views along the ridge within 30 minutes. Don't keep going after the ridge ends because you will descend into the forest and reach an old logging trail and just have to turn right around...

Great bookstore for the size and population of the island. Easy to wander around and find a book to relax with. Right next door to the delicious bakery as a bonus!
