Jon Pedigo and Meagan Arnold first met on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at a church work day. Jon knew that very day Meagan would one day be his wife. Meagan, on the other hand, was trying to prevent her Dad from making her go talk to him. Even though much wasn't said between the two, both managed to exchange a few words. Later that night, Meagan decided to add Jon on Facebook and he accepts her friend request. The next day after church, Jon stood around trying to build the nerve to ask Meagan's parents if he could take her on a date; however, he was too nervous to even speak. Standing awkwardly in the foyer, Meagan asked Jon, "so, you're gonna be our new drummer, huh?" "Yea, I guess so," replied Jon. That began a nice, little conversation between the two. As they got ready to leave, Meagan's parents invited Jon to go eat at the one and only Mexican restaurant in town. Lunch goes well, and the following day at 12:45pm, Meagan receives a message from Jon through Facebook Messenger. He asked for her phone number and wanted to see if she would like to hangout sometime. Jon and Meagan went on their first date on May 11, 2024. Both had an amazing time and immediately realized their relationship would be for the long haul. Fast forward to November 17, 2024, Jon got down on one knee to ask Meagan to marry him. Standing there with pure shock on her face, Meagan answered, "I know not." Jon on one knee shaking due to the nerves, and not able to tell what Meagan was thinking in that moment, proceeds to ask, "so is that a yes?" Extremely excited, smiling, and crying all at the same time, Meagan finally responded to Jon's BIG question with a lovely, "Yes!!!"
