With this being a destination wedding, we know it takes a lot more planning and coordinating for you to celebrate with us. We have included information below on transportation options and accommodations to help make this trip as smooth as possible!
DRIVING
We frequently make the drive from the Twin Cities to Covert, MI, which takes about 7 hours + 30 mins (we may or may not have done it in 7 hours once...).
Driving + Ferry
If you are coming from the Twin Cities area, you can also take the Lake Express Ferry accross Lake Michigan from Milwaukee, WI to Muskegon, MI (which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes North of Palisades Park Country Club). The ferry ride is about 2.5 hours.

GRR is about 1 hour and 15 minutes north of the wedding venue. Recently, Sun Country has added flights from MSP to GRR, offering an additional travel option alongside Delta, which we have previously used for flights between MSP and GRR.
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport
Romulus, MI 48242, USA
DTW is about 2 hours and 40 minutes east of the wedding venue. SunCountry often has very cheap airfare from MSP to DTW, so you can get a great deal if you are checking regularly (we have seen as low as $39 one-way).

Lake Bluff Inn & Suites
There are rooms available at this hotel for the Warner/Schulte wedding. When reserving your room, please mention the wedding. We highly recommend visiting the Lake Bluff Inn website to explore the various room options and prices before making a reservation. While most of the hotel has been recently renovated, there are still a few rooms awaiting renovation. Lastly, please review their Reservation Policy before booking.
Holiday Inn Express South Haven, an IHG Hotel
This hotel does not allow a block of rooms. Therefore, they encouraged people to book soon, as September is peak season. This is brand new hotel in the area.
