Q + A

Are there Covid restrictions?

While there are no Covid restrictions for our wedding, please be mindful that there will be immune compromised guests attending so if you're feeling sick, please take a Covid test and use your best judgement.

Are my children invited?

While we would love to have your little ones at our wedding, this is strictly for adults only., with the exception of Lara's nieces/flower girls.

Can I bring a plus one?

Since we are trying to keep this a small intimate wedding with only people we know, we are not inviting plus ones/dates. If you are in a long-term/serious relationship, you should see your partner's name next to yours on the RSVP.

Why Clearwater Beach?

Clearwater Beach is the number one beach in the country and there's so much to do! We wanted to give everyone a weekend vacations to relax, unwind and have fun together. Lara has lots of family and friends down in Florida and it's a short plane ride from the tri-state area. April is a perfect time to visit.

Do I need a car?

If you're flying in from out of town and only staying the weekend, we don't recommend renting a car as traffic can be heavy on weekends and parking is very difficult. That being said, you can walk most places and there's a free trolley to take you up and down the main trip. Uber and Lyft and local taxis can take you to and from the airport or anywhere else you need to go that you can't walk, bike or trolley to. If you are driving, there is free parking at the venue and most hotels have valet if you're staying there for a daily fee.

Where do I stay?

There are tons of hotels in Clearwater Beach depending on your budget. You can also try AirBnB and VRBO. More info about hotel blocks are in the "Travel" section.

Who's invited to the Welcome Party?

Everyone! The Welcome Party is for all guests attending the wedding. Since this is a destination wedding, the Welcome party is a way to meet and greet with out of town guests the night before the wedding. Please also RSVP to the Welcome Party.

Will there be food at the Welcome Party?

We recommend that you eat dinner beforehand, as we will only be serving desert at the Welcome Party. There will also be refreshments, beer and wine!

How should I dress?

For the wedding, we would like everyone to come dressed in formal attire. Suit and tie for men. Dresses for woman (gowns not necessary). Please no sneakers, shorts, jeans, cargo pants, or baseball caps. Keep in mind the ceremony and cocktail hour is outdoors so don't forget sunscreen and to wear light materials. The reception will be indoors in air conditioning. Feel free to wear whatever you like to the welcome party (sundresses, business casual) or shorts and a bathing suit. No restrictions!

Where are you registered?

We are not registered at any store as we do not need household items at this time, however we are saving for a home and for our honeymoon so if you would like to contribute to one of our funds, you can click on the "Registry" tab. There will also be a card box at the wedding.
